i've had the car for circa 9 mos. as others have observed in other threads, the air is not as cold as it could be, but seems okay. but that's not what this is about.

seems like the AC light used come on when in Auto mode when the compressor engaged - but a few days ago i noticed that's no longer happening. :confused:

does your AC light illuminate when in Auto mode? trying to decide if a trip to the dealer is in order...

Page 4-94 of the manual says:

*NOTICE
The A/C button is not illuminated at all times during AUTO mode operation.
 
sure - but the compressor is on; the thing is blowing cold air...
 
The manual says it's a feature, not a problem. Where's the problem? A problem is when you have no AC.
 
actually the AC is dead now as well. thanks for the sage advice.
