  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I've been reading this forum for 1 1/2 months, while I tried to sell my 2008 BMW M5. That finally happened last Saturday, for a young man in Montreal.

I've occasionally driven my wife's 2015 Sonata 2.0T Ultimate for the past 2 months, after her 2003 BMW 530 was written off in an accident. I was so impressed, I took a 3.8 Tech and 5.0 Ultimate for test drives, and was completely convinced that 2015 Genesis would be my next vehicle. She still has her 2003 BMW Z4 (or "toy", as I call it; she calls it "baby"!).

Anyway, I picked up an Empire State Grey/Black Monotone 2015 3.8 Tech Genesis yesterday, and LOVE it! After the V10/500HP M5 "gas guzzler", I decided against the 5.0 Ultimate for now, although we'll see what it's like 2-3 years.
I'm in my sixties, and really don't want, or need, that kind of power anymore.

I do want to thank everyone here for all the information that I read before the purchase. It really helped.

I even talked my salesman into joining this forum, as he drives the same car, in white. I showed him the grocery bag hanger, and he didn't know it was there. He dumped his BMW for the Genesis too.:)
