Anti-lock smart cruise module replacement

Has anyone replaced their own proportioning valve/smart cruise controller? Brake bleed normal?

The ABS HECU has been replaced by my dealer on both my cars under warranty. To bleed an HECU properly you need the proper scan tool. Someone with enough knowledge, skill and equipment could in theory do it themselves.

Thanks for the PDF. I do have the manual, but it is nice to have an easy to find example. I figure I'll price the job at the dealer as I don't have the control box to do the anti-lock controls.
