Any aftermarket exhaust for G80 sport yet?

I just replaced the oem catback by used Maserati quatroporte 2009 catback

And the sound is brutal

Actually while I am inside the car a very smooth sound,
But when I stand beside the exhaust, the car actually splitting with roaring

My friend was setting yesterday in the back seats and he had all the fun, he told me that he can hear the roar clearly.

Is this "NOISE" about tingling your johnson or is there any noticeable performance improvement. When I was MUCH younger, it may have been the former, but now I would be happy if my Geneis Sport sounded like a Tesla.

I should also note that I went into the sound settings to enhance the fake engine sound through the speaker option in Sport Mode. My old ears couldn't tell the difference. After 10 seconds I switched by to ECO mode.

For the most part, car exhausts are more about the acoustics than the performance increase. The increased performance comes from the added airflow. I would be surprised if you even got +2hp out of it. Oh & weight deduction. The already god-awful heavy g80 sport can use some slimming. I shaved off 34 pounds.

For me, I love the Jaguar Tunes & that crackle. Once I went borla, I get it on every downshift. It's just something that differs from person to person...

Folks over on the Kia Stinger forums are seeing close to 10% documented hp gains with less restrictive exhaust systems. Lots of untapped power in that 3.3tt engine.

I did an axle-back exhaust so this will not effect your warranty. I purchased the magnaflow street exhaust online for a few hundred. Interviewed a few "exotic shops" until I found one heavy on customization knowing fabrication was necessary. They installed it for a few hundred as well. I liked the sound but it still was just shy of hitting the growl I wanted so I took it back and did a resonator delete.

Now I get more crackle and minor pops (almost hard to notice unless you are outside of the car). My wife took the car out the other day and I asked her to punch it so I can hear it from my house. I was shocked at how loud it was. I could hear the crackle a block or 2 away. I bring this up because its not even close to that loud in the car.

I am still not 100% happy with the sound. Trying to work on a cat-back system. I am not trying to make it louder. I am trying to make it a bit more raspy. Almost like a jaguar f-type sound.

what series of street exhaust did you order ie what car did you to reference when ordering

Posted a few videos here from my on camera mic - still waiting for a better mic to pick up the properl bass tones. It has more growl than the video eludes too.
