  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Any Bluelink deals or promotions??

i let my expire..once I got the letter about i need to start the car every 4 days that basically did it for me.. I travel alot and the car sits in econ parking for weeks sometimes..
I travel a lot too, but every 72 hrs or so, I remote start it no matter where in the world I am. That way, I ensure that when I arrive back at the airport and the shuttle drops me off, my car is either warm (winter) or cool (summer).

Glad to know that this works. I receive an email from Hyundai telling me about the limitation. I asked if you could just start the car every few days, but I never got a reply.

I called and paid full price $271 but was offered 2 years for that price. Essentially a 50% discount. Also that investment is protected if you call and cancel when you trade out of the vehicle.

Was this for all 3 packages?

Any Bluelink deals or promotions?? not today...

I just received an email from bluelink reminding me that my free trial period is to end next week, ....but they were prepared to extend my subscription since they had my credit card from when I purchased the car and signed up for the trial.

Their offer was to renew remote and guidance for an additional 9 months [to match the remaining connected care trial]for $75 each [9/12 x $99.00].

I queried them about any 'deals' for continuing...either for the 9 months or 2 years or???

Was told no deals exist now. There MAY be deals in the future and if so, I would receive an e mail.

I explained the Guidance was especially worthwhile since the voice nav was atrocious. No commiseration, no deal.

I cancelled any renewal after trial.

I have the 3 month free trial and I would like to keep it, problem is 2 out of the 3 packages haven't been working since I got the car. Everything on their end shows I'm enrolled, but no dice. Yet another 'case' open with them, hopefully they fix. Looks like some nice options!

My full trial of all Bluelink packages comes to an end on the 24th of this month. I won't be renewing, especially now since I have Android Auto and the Google Maps navigation available for free through that.....and even Waze to be available soon.

The ONLY functionality that I might pay for is the remote start but to me the value of that is way less than $100/year and I know that's not possible so I'll be cancelling.

My free trial ends next week and I got auto renewal reminder email from blueLink.
Remote: $74.05 for next 9 mo.
Guidance: $74.05 for next 9 mo.
I called blueLink and deactivated Guidance (never used it and now I have AA) and ask them for any deals on Remote.
I waited about 5 min. and rep. told me 35 % off on Remote ($48.13).
I asked about any 2-3 years package deals but nothing at this time.
So I just renewed Remote. We'll see what happens next year...

So $48 for the remote start for a year or still 9 months was the longest they offered?

If 9 months, I wonder why? Seems like an odd number.

There are 3 packages (Connected care, Remote & Guidance).

Connected care package is $99/year but my car came w/ 1 year trial.
Remote & Guidance are also $ $99/year per package but my car came w/ 3 months trial.

The offer was for next 9 month so all packages will end at the same date w/ Connected care package and can be renew at the same time per year basis.

BTW, you must have Connected care in order to have either Remote or Guidance package which is BS. (ex. minimum $198/year to have Remote package w/o any promo) I just need a Remote package as I'm in Chicago but I won't be renewing next spring if they don't have good promo.

No known valid promos. Only discount is 10% for two years and 15% for three years.

Just received this.

Thanks, Ernie. Appears to be VIN related as it said it was, "not applicable for my VIN".

EDIT: I am still active with Connected Care, so on second thought, this likely works on those who have expired.

Just received this.

Any chance you could post the link from the document you received. I don't get a "promo" code box on my Blue Link page to even enter the code they sent you. I see two places on the doc you posted where it will take you to their webpage. I'd like to try this as my son's Blue Link subscription is two years expired and he'd like it back active.

I tried using the "CONNECTME" promo code as well. I received the same message as ksoze (above): it said this promo code was not applicable with my VIN. I guess I'll have to wait for my subscriptions to expire on August 8th and hopefully I will be able to renew and get the 40% discount. If not, I will not be renewing at all. Fingers crossed!
