Any experience (G80 , G90 owners?) with "appearance protection" plan??

We have varying prices based on coverage. Typical coverage is bumper cover, ~2' of the hood, matching length on the fenders, and mirror caps, but the full hood can be done for a nominal fee.

As stated most folks just do the front of the car and mirrors no use in doing the doors. If you are trying to protect it from door dings because it won't protect you from a door actually hitting it hard enough to put a ding in it. I also do the headlights because today most headlights are plastic and are prone to sand blasting over time.

As far as the question of getting some of these services done like dents and wheel repair I can tell you here in the US it was no hassle at all. When I had a dent to be removed I just took it to my dealer who used and outside source to come in and remove them, no hassle no questions. Also on another car I had the wheel and tire insurance thru the dealer, I scraped a wheel on a curb brought it to the dealer, they took the car and gave me a loaner and fix the wheel again no question no hassle. Same when I had a tire that couldn't be plugged, they gave me a new tire. Hopefully this will be the same in Canada.

Ok the plan maybe worth it but only if you use it and it adds up to more than what you pay for it. If in the past with previous cars you have owned and had any of the issues listed here then maybe it's right for you.

Here is my take:

Here is the Coverage you get. You decide if it is worth it to you or not:

Repair damage to leather/interior (in 40 years and the many cars I have owned I have never damage my leather/interior)
Removal of small dents on exterior body panels (I've had maybe a few and these can be removed for $50-$100)
Repair of paint damage on exterior (up to $2k) (Again depends on the amount of damage, if someone damage your paint it's what I have car insurance for)
Repair/replacement of a damaged front windshield (Again this is why I have car insurance)
Repair of damaged head/tail/foglights (How would these be damaged if not from an accident?)
Coverage for lost/stolen/damaged keys/fobs (ok again I have never lost one but these are not cheap to replace)
Repair/replacement of damaged tires/wheels (With these cheap conti tires this might be good)
Repair of curb rash (For me this might be a good option since where I live we have granite curbs that tear the hell out of your wheels)
