  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm having problems with my local dealer and it would help if someone on the forum who works in Hyundai parts could check what comes up in your parts catalog when you search for Part 26320-3C250. Does the system say it has been superceded by 26320-3C30A?

I've been using the 250 and now my dealer says it should have always been 30A - and I've damaged by oil pressure sensors by using the "wrong" filter. I think the 250 is what originally came in my 2011 3.8.

(If you want more details about why I ask this, read the thread just below this one named "Help! Dealer says I damaged my car with Wix filter")

26320-3C250 is definitely the correct filter for the 2009-2011 Genesis V6. I just changed my oil today, and I am looking at 3 different receipts for 10 filters that I have purchased from my Hyundai Dealer over the last 3 years.

Are they the black capped filters or the white felt ones?

Mine are the black ones, with the green gasket inside. Looking around the web I am pretty sure that the 26320-3C30A is a suitable replacement for the 26320-3C250 (which I assume is being phased out, but I have not tried to purchase that part number since the 2012's have been released).

I would call all the Hyundai Dealers I had time to call and ask for a price on the oil filter for a 2011 Genesis V6 and then ask them the part number. If I were the OP I would have called the local district attorney and the FTC a long time ago.
