  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm in the process of finalizing purchase on a 2011 4.6, and wondering if I can use a 2 TB portable HD with the Lexicon system. I beleive that I've read a post where someone has used a 500 GB drive, but not sure if there is a HD size limit. I store my music as .wav files. The Lexicon will read those, right?

As far as I know, the USB port will only play MP3 from storage media.

There is a limit of 255 total folders and 4000 total files.

Rip your WAVs down to 320 MP3s and put them on a 64GB Flash drive. That's about the best you are going to get.

Confirmed, it won't play .wav

My music collection is sitting on a 32 GB flash drive I bought for $15.

Hmm, don't know why I assumed that it would play wav files. Thanks for the tips, I'll have to go for mp3s I guess..
