  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I went to check on 'MyGenesis', and it said there was a new update for my car, so proceeded with the typical process. Started with the navigation updater, and there's a new version, so downloaded it. Then proceeded to open the updater, and was greeted for the first time with my model year there: '2022-23 G70'. Before it was '21-'22, if I remember correctly. Or maybe just '22. So downloaded it, and it's ready to go. My question is if there's anything different than what I already updated my car back in late May? I had to do it twice (for the 2nd time), since the first update was pulled due to bugs. Thank you.

So should I update my car again??? I don't think the maps changed, but maybe the software.

I know they updated the location of charging stations for EV and it seems we all go it. Most important updates have always been May and October, though that may change now that many cars have OTA. .

Well, just did it. Car said the only change was charging info, so obviously not applicable to my gas G70. And for the first time, got a email notification (from connected services) that software update was completed on my car, even though I turned everything off. Weird. But guess it was successful. Ha ha. I drive that car very little, but hope I don't notice any negative changes next time I use it. We'll see:).
