Any Recent Contact with Korean Auto Imports?

Has anyone had any contact with Korean Auto Imports recently? I have sent them a message via Twitter, via Facebook, via email, and via text, but after several days I still haven't received a reply.

That said, perhaps someone can give me the answers I'm looking for:

1. Is the KGENCMS2 2012+ Genesis Chrome Door Molding original equipment or aftermarket made? In either case, does it come with new clips or am I supposed to re-use the clips under the current door molding? (http://koreanautoimports.com/2012-genesis-chrome-door-molding-4pc/)
   
2. Is the KGSENLDS1 2012-2014 Genesis Sedan LED Door Sill (front) in black original equipment or aftermarket made? (http://koreanautoimports.com/2012-2014-genesis-sedan-led-door-sills-front/)
   
3. Are the GSWL12 2012-2014 Genesis Sedan Wing Logo LED Puddle Lights direct replacements for the lights already mounted under the side mirrors? (http://koreanautoimports.com/2012-2...o-led-puddle-lights-for-side-mirrors-set-2pc/)

I have placed three successful orders from KAI and was well pleased, but that was 3 years ago. I wouldn't go near them now, though. They've trashed their reputation. Sad, really. Try eBay instead.

I bought trunk wings, plastic chrome side trim and lighted door sills. All items were original Hyundai parts. New side trim clips come with the trim, so the original clips are not re-used. See my thread in this forum.

Yeah, I had found references to good experiences with KAI in the forum, but as you noted, that was from years ago. So, thanks for the heads up... off to eBay. Have any recommendations for eBay sellers?

I'll never use them again. There are a few new KDM vendors on here you could try. KDMHolic and KDMmotorsinc are two of them. I have had good luck with small items off ebay like PMCErnie mentioned. Ebay user youjin79 can get some hard to find items.

By the way, each of the items the OP is looking for are stocked by some Hyundai Dealers. This local dealer of mine sells on the Internet, including on eBay. Just call their parts dept and ask for their Internet price.

I finally got a response after a week to tell me that the items I wanted are no longer available.

Yeah, I did too. I was told that they could special order them, so I asked for a total price. That was well over a week ago (after waiting a week for the first reply). Sad.

I'm looking at eBay users Automotiveapple and Hanikimi at this point. Good prices and they confirmed by email that the parts are genuine Hyundai.

Really??? KAI Really!?!

You guys will get a kick out of this response I got from KAI just last night about a part inquiry I made. Keep in mind part is listed on their site with a price and everything but does have a footnote about if there is no add to cart then it is special order.

"Thanks for your interest, our apologies for the late reply. We have
phased-out importation of most goods from Korea. We are now concentrating
on accessories manufactured in the USA. Our website will be redone soon to
reflect this change."

Sounds like they need to change their name to American-Korean Auto Distributors. I can probably count the number of American made products for Hyundai's on one hand. Company is ridiculously out of touch with the Hyundai community.

Believe me I know how they are, I wasn't actually going to buy what I asked about. More curious to see what they would say.

Yeah not much love for the sedan crowd. Shark Racing (not Import Shark) said they can get just about any part for the sedan.
