  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

After almost 4 months of wrestling (with my wife...) I have the green light to go ahead. Will sell my sienna tomorrow and get the genesis 3.8L tech as soon as possible (but can wait as well for a good deal..)

Please share how much (lease) you are paying monthly and the down and lease detail. ;)

You should be getting a MF of .0004, last I checked on the V6. A price of 700+ below invoice would be a solid deal.

Have you had any offers?

Thanks man.
Not yet.... but i want to be prepared. What about residual value like 12K miles a year for 24 or 36 months?

I believe the special subsidized MF applies to the 36 month program only, or else you will get higher bank percentages.

It should be 48% for 12k, or 47% for 15k.

Here's some help with pricing, depending on what package you will be going for.

V6 Base: 33000 MSRP, 31323 Invoice
Premium Package: 2000 MSRP, 1820 Invoice
Prem Plus: 3000 MSRP, 2730 Invoice
Tech Pack: 4000 MSRP, 3640 Invoice
Cargo Tray: 100 MSRP, 80 Invoice

On a fully loaded V6 with an MSRP of 40100 and 37773, you should aim for a negotiated price of below 37k or below. Don't forget to add another 1000ish on top of that for a 695$ acquisition fee, license/titling, and dealer fee. The V6 should also have the 1000 Rebate available for the V6, which acts as a capitalized cost reduction (which you still have to pay tax for)

A rough estimate of good pricing pre-tax would be 535-540 a month, add your local sales tax on top of that.

Good luck!

is the 5xx monthly payment required any money down?

That was with no money down.

If you want to put money down, each 1k would reduce your monthly payment by 30$

I would advise against putting money down. In the scenario anything happens to the vehicle, most insurance companies do not cover your down payment, and thus is lost.

Thank you. yes, 0 down is my goal.....

You paid a little over invoice (assuming a 100-200$ dealer fee) The best you could of done with that much money down would probably have been 350ish.

I suggest rolling any "due at signing" into the monthly payment for future references.

Enjoy :)

How did you say I paid over Invoice?
The Invoice of this car is 33,733(inclusive of destination)
-So if you take 1000 rebate the cost is
33,733-1000-1000(from my downpayment)=31,733Capcost
So I am at 31,130
Isn't it better than 31,733

Sweet thanks for that link. Based on what they said I got a smoking deal at 38,100 (though not leased, cash) for the fully decked 4.6.
