Has anyone added a keycard to a 2020 G80 Sport? Is it possible?

Been thinking about buying one but I don't want to waste the money if it doesn't work

I've had one since 2019 with my 2019 G80 sport and it works fine.

It was expensive and I had to get it programmed at the dealer because nobody else can program the credit card key other than a Genesis dealer.

Good luck on your decision. Just make sure your car is compatible with a credit card key from Genesis.

The credit card key according to my understanding can only be programmed by a Genesis dealer.

Attempting to do so any other way could cause you lots of complications.

Funny. On my GV80, I programmed my card when I received it. Wonder why the G80 would be different?

Not true, I was able to program my card key and 2 key fob using my Launch X431 scan tool.

No scan tool needed to program the key card on the GV80. All you need is the app and you send the code to the vehicle to pair it up and that is all it took. So, I have the 2 key fobs, a key card and my phone that all can operate my GV80.
