If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. I am trying to find some new rims for my 4.6 I am looking at a couple of different styles but love the rims in this pic but I can't find anything on who makes them or what the style is even called. I also like the rims on the black DUB edition car but DUB apparently doesn't make that style anymore and I can't buy them anywhere. Any help in identifying these rims would be great!

Re: Anybody know what the name of these rims is?!

I believe those are the wheels that were on the Genesises they took on tour around the US for people to test drive in 2008 when the car first hit the dealers. Perhaps they are available on the car in Korea. There was a discussion about them early on. Some people hated them. I personnaly like them.

Re: Anybody know what the name of these rims is?!

Three things.

1. Those rims look like they are 20" rims. (Too big - not enough sidewall)

2. Although you like them, to me, those rims lack "snap".

3. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Re: Anybody know what the name of these rims is?!

I looked for those rims also a while back. Never found them. Besides, I'm quite sure they are 20" . After searching for months I settled on 19" Estoril Rims from TSW (which are quite affordable by the way). Here's a pick of my car at

Also...

I photoshoped about 20 different wheel types on the same picture of a black-on-black Genesis. I believe the original photo had 20" rims and low-profile P2xxx/P35R20s. As a result, the wheels I photoshoped-in reflect that same rim size and tire aspect. Click on "Hyundai Genesis Pictures" (on this forum) and look for "Wheel Options".

They are HRE 943R's

http://www.hrewheels.com/wheels/series.php?q=/940R/943R/

I don't know what size they are, but HRE only offers the 943 R in 20, 21 and 22 inch sizes. I almost think that those are 21's on the car pictured.

Wow, what a great site. The photo gallery is spectacular. The Bentleys and the Mercedes sedans look great with that 943R.

I can't even begin to imagine how much they cost. Any idea?

Re: Anybody know what the name of these rims is?!

Well the cheapest I have found the HRE 943R $1800 each. Guess I will be marking those off of my list!

Negative....

Re: Anybody know what the name of these rims is?!

Those wheels are actually quite similar to the Ace Alloy Executive's which are a pretty popular wheel. You can check them out here:

They come in staggered widths and 20" and 22" diameters. I had considered these myself at one time. You can get these for somewhere around $350 a piece, give or take.

Re: Anybody know what the name of these rims is?!

I stand corrected. Javelina is exactly right about these rims being HRE 943R's. I found another image online of the car in motion and you can plainly see the HRE logo on the rim. Thanks for the good investigative work and suggestions. I do like those Ace Alloy rims too so maybe I will go with those...more in my price range.

Re: Anybody know what the name of these rims is?!

can you post the picture? would love to see another angle of these wheels.

Re: Anybody know what the name of these rims is?!

I asked this same question on the forum about 6-7 months ago and was told that these wheels are the SSR Vienna Zweel. The center of the HRE wheels where the lug nuts sit is too deep for the wheels in the picture above which makes it a lean to the SSR. See link. I could be wrong. Just food for thought.

If they are SSR Vienna, still looking at near $1000 per wheel.

Any ideas on cheaper alternatives that gives similar looks?

Check the Axis EXE line, model Tenfold. I've got them on my car, but can't seem to up load the pics.
