I've realized when clean and in certain light my bumpers/side skirts are noticeably different color from the rest of the car. I know they're painted separately and flex additive and blablabla.
Question is, if you've brought this to Hyundai's attention have they had it fixed for you? I've had metallic Acuras, Jeeps, BMWs, Audis, and VWs with never an issue that is this noticeable.
My short history with the brand is that virtually everyone needs to step their game up in the service department, especially if they want to legitimize themselves among the German big 3 and all. The first time I raised concern about my pano roof noise, their 'fix' was to turn the music up and keep the sun shade closed. No joke.So I hope they offer a fix, but who knows...would be anxious to hear your experience if any.
In certain low-light, high blue wavelength situations I've found that the portion of the front deck in front of the hood (that little strip) is a slightly different shade than the hood. In bright sunlight it is not apparent. But it is nowhere near as bad as it was on my 2004 TL. Look at any white Acura TL from that era, the bumper (particularly the back) never matches the body next to it.
