Hey gang,
I recently had my '22 3.3T AWD broken into and sadly, my JL 12" MicroSub was stolen from the trunk. The model is theJ L Audio ACP112LG-TW1 MicroSub+.
Thankfully all the original wiring was left intact so all I really need to do is plug the replacement box right back into and done. The original box was installed professionally with an RCA connection and an LC2i converter.
The only problem is that I never recorded the settings that the audio shop used on the original sub/amp. And I don't want to go back to them if I don't have to for another calibration. I understand the basics which is to turn the gain low, adjust the stereo volume to my average listening volume and keep adjusting the gain until I get distortion. And then there's the 20-30 hr break in period.
But if anyone happens to have one already installed I'd love to know what settings you're using.
The gain is really what I need to make sure is set properly.
The sub is currently still in the box as the vehicle isn't back from the collision center yet. The attached pic is of how it's set in the box.
