  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone seen advertisement for the GV80 and new G80?

By that, mean commercials that are broadcast nationwide.

With the 1st GV80s having hit the lots (with some already sold), figure that Genesis would launch a pretty big advertising campaign after a few quiet months (don't watch TV, so wouldn't know).

Otoh, with such limited supply of the GV80 on the lots (figure many are reserved for those who have placed an order) and seemingly getting snapped up, may behoove Genesis to delay an advertising push until greater supply hits the lots.

Nothing more frustrating than heading to a dealership to check one out, if not purchase, and there's nothing available.

I’m in the DFW area and have seen the GV80 commercial on TV several times. Have no idea what is on dealers lots for not car shopping at this time. My preferred dealer in Dallas discontinued his Genesis franchise so Irving and Burleson are next closest to me. Would not mind seeing one in person if I happened to be close to a dealer.

Yes, playing in SoCal. Nice commercial but as you said, unless there is supply, pretty cruel to be drawing people in to empty dealer lots. Obviously the purpose is to start filling the pipeline for post-launch production. Hopefully dealers are required or smart enough to keep demo units in stock and not sell those.
