  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Looks like everyone only posted just the front but the rear is mega easy and only a few things to note.

Cliff notes:

Make sure to leave about 8” of extra slack at the front cam area or tucked nearby so you have some extra and then tuck under headliner going down the passenger side. Make sure to snake the wire behind the airbag curtain so it can deploy if needed! I tape my wire to a long zip tie and use it like a snake to route the wire. The only tight spot is to tuck under the rear 1/4 window as that plastic is tight.

When you get near the third brake light you can pull down the headliner a bit to get to the empty rubber boot that you can snake the wire through that leads into the hatch. All this trim snaps off easy. Then you can place the cam on the glass and tuck remaining wire in the hatch area with a zip tie as you’ll still have about 2ft left hence why I said keep some up front as well.

Snap all trim back on and your done.

If you got park mode you can find a pic I posted here or maybe in the FB group of which 2 fuses to use that’s safe and neat and clean.

Hi,
Sorry I don’t but it was so easy actually.

All I had to do was run the wire along the headliner and ensure I ticked it behind the air bags so it doesn’t interfere with deployment.

Once I got to the rear the rubber boot pops off easy to snake the wire through the boot to enter the hatch area. Then the plastic trim up top snaps off. Tuck remaining wire away securely and mount the cam via provided tape or two tiny screws and snap the panel back.

Prior to mounting it, test it so you know the orientation you need to turn or raise the cam etc .

I installed this in the summer and everything was working fine until I needed it. I was witness to a horrific motorcycle/car accident. When I went to retrieve the footage for the police it stated that the card had been corrupted. It was the card that came with the camera. I bought a top quality card afterwards and it has worked flawlessly since. I highly recommend this camera.
