  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone using window rain guards?

http://koreanautoimports.com/2012-genesis-sedan-diamond-series-window-visors/
i know this is irrelivant to your gen 2 genny but these rain deflectors look pretty good to me. i enjoy having my window cracked especially during a hot day to vent out the heat in the summer. living in TN you dont know when its gonna rain and it has been sporadic.there is no option on that site for these deflectors for the 2nd gen.

If you google rain deflectors for 15 Genny a similar product will appear that is all brushed chrome/aluminum that is color matched to existing window trim. It appears to be only available in Korea but from the pix they look pretty good.

I mean, if you like spending money and not getting product, they are the go-to vendor of the last several years.

I don't think they've shipped a part since like 2011.

thanks for the heads up...I was going to order some but I guess I will buy on ebay.

Came back from lunch. Parked car on surface lot. Bright sunshine. Look at weather <20% chance of rain. Cracked windows because its so hot. Inside working away and co worker says its pouring outside. Run outside with a handful of napkins to clean water off everything. Cuss, wish I had vent guards! Argh!

Hi Comp1,
Having the car with the Ultimate Package, why don't you download the Genesis App and start the car say 4 minutes before you get there and program the AC to the coolest possible? it will be cool by the time you get to your car. Here in South Texas we've been having days of 100+ F for the last couple of weeks and I've been using the Gen App for that, works wonders!.

Besides, leaving the window crack open will allow dust / Sand to get to the interior of the car, messing up your seats and dashboard. That used to happen a lot on my Sonata, not nice.

check out the website CARid. They have a pretty good selection of products for the Genesis
