  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi
I have owned my G70 for over a year now (which btw i really enjoy my G70).
When connected to Apple car play, my display map on the right side has a box which shows auto and a distance.
I may not be looking in the right place but for the life cannot find what that means. Any help is appreciated

Which map app are you using?

Just a guess: the "zoom" level of the currently displayed map. I.e. how many feet or miles or kilometers each division of the map represents. Usually there is a marker of some sort showing the division size - it often looks like a "|---------|" drawing. It sounds like your map is in auto zoom mode, varying the zoom level based on the type of road you are on or your current driving speed. For example: on freeways it may zoom out to show a few miles but when driving slower/on surface streets it might zoom in a bit to show minor streets. When a destination is entered, auto zoom modes sometime zoom in/out so you can see your current position and how far away is the next turn or event. The logic varies between the various navigation/map providers.
