Are all H8 fog lights the same??

Hi all ,

I need to replace my H8's, I know they need to be 35w. My question is if they are 35w and H8's shouldn't the connectors be identical regardless of which company makes them? Here is what I'm looking at, it says they don't fit which seems odd to me as they look the same as the ones in the car now:

Yes all H8s have the same connectors.

Thanks ! ...that's what I thought, guess they didn't update the guide on their site. I'm hoping for the price that they are a nice upgrade.

It would appear that they are all the same in the above video despite Amazon saying that this part will NOT fit a 2010 Genny Sedan. I do remember reading on here about aftermarket bulbs running too hot and melting the plastic reflector housing but I think that is due to them exceeding the 35W rating on the bulb and/or using Hi output LEDs.
