  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

We're all anxiously waiting to see what Hyundai has up its sleeves for the updated Genesis Coupe, and it looks like we may have a better idea of what's coming down the line. Genesis Coupe.com forum member shcboyzone managed to lay hands on a few grainy photos of what's appears to be the 2013 Genesis Coupe. Is this the real deal? Hard telling. If it is, the sports car will rock styling that's very similar to what we've seen from the Hyundai Accent and Veloster. With a more upright fascia, hexagonal grille and sculpted lights, the similarities are unmistakable.

It looks like the vehicle will also feature unique hood louvers, though it's unclear from the photos whether or not the pieces are actually functional. Around back, Hyundai has graced the coupe with a set of LED tail lamps as well. While this design seems to dovetail fairly closely with the heavily camouflaged mules we've seen in testing, we won't know for sure whether or not this is the real deal until we get closer to the vehicle's unveil at the next Detroit Auto Show. Here's another shot. I have a feeling this is it...

My own personal opinion - the only part I don't like about the first generation Hyundai Genesis Coupe is the front fascia.. So I welcome a change like this...

You don't mind your next-gen Genesis coupe having a smiley face? :p

I can't welcome this new look considering what made the Genesis coupe (and sedan) special in the first place is they had their own distinct identities compared to the rest of Hyundai cars.

I'm crying inside and outside. :(

The current Sonata looks great... except the hybrid version with that same nose. It's just as off-putting on the Genesis coupe too. If Hyundai goes with that nose, the coupe is off my list of future cars. I hate wide open "maw" grills.

If they start looking like those fugly Mitsubishi's then its over for Hyundai. All of Mitsubishi cars are gawd aweful ugly.

+1 Not a fan of the open mouthed grills....just not elegant IMHO.
