  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

please forgive my lack of knowledge...

so owners who purchased before 2013 were/are under the fidelity HPP plan . are we obligated to use Fidelity until the 10/100k runs out or is the warranty now being transferred by Assurant ?

That's a good question one maybe for Bob from Hyundai.

Yes, prior to Jan 6 2013 you should be on fidelity if you purchased an HPP. The information is clearly written on the contract if you still have it. After Jan 6, Hyundai branded extended service contracts are not backed by fidelity. Fidelity is the best in the business and many dealers can still provide you with a fidelity extended service contract or one that is Hyundai branded and backed by Assurant. Always go Fidelity if its an option. They actually still back the Audi, BMW, Toyota, and Lexus certified warranties. They're not the cheapest, but its quality insurance.
