Recently lost audio, navigation, blue tooth, voice assist and back up camera. Hyundai diagnosed problem as bad front audio module for can communication error. Not 100 % sure tech was correct and cost of audio replacement was obscene. Any input to anyone with similar problem and corrective fix would be helpful.

On 2009 Genesis 3.8 sedan recently lost audio, navigation, blue tooth, voice assist and back up camera. Hyundai diagnosed problem as bad front audio module for can communication error. 2015 4dr sedan, DVD audio 17 speakers, top of line upgrade from factory..............just died....screen flashes Genesis emblem & back up camera works but no stereo, navigation or anything needing the screen...........dealer said to replace & charge is $4000.....................WOW ! 7 YEARS OLD ! Re-thinking this brand

You'll find it won't matter which brand you go to. If you have a head unit issue, it will cost you a lot unless it is under warranty.

You could find a used unit and swap it out on your own if you are adventurous.
