Auto Door Locks.....

on my 2010 4.6 4 doors Genesis, I Tried to open the car doors and trunk with key bob and it wouldnt work on either key.......
had to open the door manually with key and the auto car start worked ........car drove fine. My question is this controlled by a fuse or is the module somewhere bad?

First thing I would try is replacing the battery in the fob.

changed out the battery to make sure it wasnt the bob.

I did and it works........ but the problem now is that when I put the Fob in the key slot ...... have to play with it removing it and put it back several times to get it to start.......

Why do you need to put Fob in the slot? Car should start when you have your Fob just inside the car.

it does .......but when in the slot it the presets happen without it it doesnt.......
