  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have good luck selling these on other forums, I just wanted to spread the word. It automatically disables traction control and stability control when ignition is turned on. It's programmable in that you can set it to auto-disable, or keep it on like factory all using the original button. There are no external switches to mount and is only 3 wires behind the switch so it's super clean install. I sell them for $30 shipped to most areas. PM me for more info other than the general description below. Only developed for the coupe, I am not familiar with the sedans. If there is enough interest for a sedan version I could do it. Instructions included. Thanks for reading.

Utilizes the factory ESC button(no switches to mount) and is programmable. It can be set to disable ESC every time ignition is powered or to leave it active. Simple 3 wire install behind the switch. All solid state, no mechanical relay or bulky components. See image below. I build them to order and can ship following day. $30.00 plus shipping. They are set up to disable both traction control and stability control automatically. I can customize to only disable traction control only, if requested. Please ask regarding special configurations. PM for orders.

How it works:
With the ignition on, press and release the ESC button (no need to hold). After ~4 seconds, ESC will turn off just as it would normally. In this state, the unit will now repeat this process every time the ignition is turned on. To revert back to stock operation, press and release the ESC button. This re-activates ESC and will leave it on for each following ignition cycle. I'll post up instructions soon.

I was tired of holding that button every time I got into my car, hence the creation of this device. I usually have a large stock of parts due to hobbies/work and I will be producing these indefinitely until otherwise noted.

Interested, except I have a sedan, a 2015 G2.

Will it cause the "traction control off" light to stay on the whole time it is disabled?

Yes, the light stays on unfortunately. To implement a CAN interface would not be worth the cost and time, as the cluster illuminates based on the CAN messages. You could remove the LED in the cluster, which I understand is not feasible for some.

As far as the sedan version, I will have to get a hold of schematics for the sedan. Once I have a prototype, I would need someone with a sedan willing to test and get a free finished module in the end. Also depends on how many people want it.Thanks for good questions!
