Not that I know of. I like the fact that they come on fast in many cases, like entering a tunnel. Three minutes? I know a couple of places where that could cause a problem as it gets dark and potentially dangerous in less than a minute. Better too soon than too late.Is there a way to extend the timer for the low beams to kick on? Instead of turning on instantly driving under a bridge, can we set it to like 3min?
I like keeping the DRL on but dislike the auto function. Wonder if there's an option to just turn off auto headlights, my previous car is made in Canada where OFF has DRL on.Not that I know of. I hope not. Too many idiots don't know when to turn the lights on, like in rain or the half hour before dusk, after dawn. Unlike you, I can't think of a single reason having them come on automatically is a problem. So what if they come on briefly under a bridge?I like keeping the DRL on but dislike the auto function. Just a pet peeve I have, all the cars I have owned (4 total) have either been too old for auto function, or a Canadian model. I am used to switching the headlights on/off rather than depending on the auto function. Heck, I am still getting used to the back up camera, I have most of the safety features turned off.I hope not.
