What has the dealer said when you asked them? Nice to have good warranty coverage for things like that. .

I bought it as a trade in from a fiat dealer 2 weeks ago. The GM of that dealer drove it 1k miles before selling. He HAD to know

I believe it is a known issue on 2.0Ts with automatic transmissions. The dealer is your best bet to get it resolved.

We have had a few, (3?) with this issue report here. A thorough search can provide more information though the dealer must find the issue and repair it. There is nothing you can do to improve the function except turn it off immediately on starting.

That has happened on my 2019 CPO G70 which I have had less than two months. Its a very scary thing! I had to get out of the car in traffic, lock the doors and use the Genesis App to do a remote start.

My bigger problem is that my car intermittently will not start at all. The brake pedal is hard and will not depress on the occasions when it will not start. It is going back to the dealership for the third time this morning. They have not been able to replicate the issue and have reprogrammed the Smart Keyfobs two different times.

Has anyone had this same issue that they were able to get it resolved?
