The information is correct. The ZF 6-speed automatic was used in a lot of luxury cars. Hyundai used the ZF 6-speed auto in the Genesis and Equus models until they engineered their own 8 speed automatic for its luxury models.

Too much. I would just check Ebay for some ZF 6HP kits. i found a few for about $150.

Here is ZF brand kit that fit all 6HP transmissions.

I guess the kit listed above in post #1 is a deal since this fluid goes for$30 a quart on Ebay.

I am glad I have the Hyundai made 8 speed auto. Pan/filter costs about $140 and I got 8 quarts of Revnol brand SP-IV RR fluid for about $80.

LOL. I only knew because the ZF 6HP transmission popped up when I did a V8 Hyundai Genesis transmission filter search for my 2015 a while ago, however it gave me many results for the older 4.6 V8 models. When I researched the ZF transmission found out it was used in many different luxury makes. Surprised me also, however ZF has been making quality transmissions for a while now.

That's correct! Confirmed by the mechanic.

My mechanic stated the entire kit along with the fluid sell at about $400 at the auto shops.

Also, my car is at 130000 miles now. The mechanic said the transmission fluid was clear and good. My car had a transmission failure at 61000 (car jerked on the highway at 70miles an hour; no warranty as it was a used car) and was replaced with a new transmission.

In summary, no new replacement of transmission fluid needed after driving 69000 miles.
