  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2009 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 - Four Seasons Update - October 2009
October 26, 2009

Months in Fleet: 9
Mileage: 25,595

"I was an early champion of the Genesis sedan but I must say I prefer the V-6-equipped Genesis. It has superior fuel economy and, especially for in and around the city, the extra two cylinders are not missed. That said, the Genesis remains a serious luxury cruiser - comfortable, quick, smooth, and a wee bit sporty - and with more than 20,000 miles on the odometer."

"Although I found the seats to be adequately comfortable, the lack of support provided by the seat bottoms became apparent after many hours behind the wheel."

Odd! My longest nonstop stint is about 6 hours, but I found the seat very comfortable (205#) for that distance.

I'd have to agree with you on that. The longest trip I've taken was 6 hours non-stop, except for gas, and the car was comfortable the whole way. I'd like more side bolstering, but I can't say the seats grew uncomfortable over time. Maybe its how you position the seat.

How did they fail to report on the horrible (life threatening) suspension?

They should be sued for negligence.

(tongue in cheek)......

I've taken two long trips, with 14 hour days each time, and I've had no issues with the seats.

Taking another long trip out to Roswell in early December, and I'm sure I will still be comfortable.
