AutoStart from Key Fob 2022 G70

Looking for tips on how it works because I’m having issue with it shutting off once I get inside the car. Then I have to restart the car.

I understand press the lock button. Then hold auto start for 2 seconds. That part works great. Now as I approach the car is locked. I use the key to get in by pressing unlock and when I sit down auto start turns off. What am I doing incorrectly?

If I don't put on my seatbelt in the GV80 it will turn off. When I hook the seatbelt it transitions to the on mode.

You can touch the brake too. I guess that assures there is a human in control.

I've had a similar issue when using the app to remote start, it is set to run for 10 mins, and is running as I approach it, yet as I unlock it- put my briefcase in the back seat, it turns off before I can get in, or shuts off as soon as I sit down if I don't quickly tap the brake. I would have thought that if I use the fob to unlock it (or hand down in the door handle) it would recognize a human is there, and run for the full 10 mins before turning off. I've looked at the time on my phone as I've used the app to make sure I'm well under the 10 min window as well.
