For 2011 and earlier the answer is on page 21 of DIS manual. Studying the manual for a luxury car like the Genesis is very important in order to not get frustrated with the car's controls and systems.

Folks, the Back button in not rocket science. It is so intuitive that if someone does not understand it they probably will never appreciate the Genesis.
