Having returned to the US after four years in Asia, I'm a Genesis owner once again by way of a '16 Ultimate AWD purchased today. While I loved my '09 V6 and '11 V8, the first 100 miles in the driver's seat of new one suggest that I'll quickly grow fond of the redesigned version.

I had to laugh at the number and size of the owners manuals! Most had to go in the trunk as the glove box is way too small. I know this comment will date me, but I used to actually read the owners manual when I bought a new car. With the Genesis, it would take less time to study for a masters degree. Good thing most controls are intuitive.

Congrats on the new ride. The manual is also accessible via the NAV system. All items in the manual are in the on board computer. Search function works awesome.

I was also astounded by the number of books they supplied.
I've had many new cars, and they've all had at least 50% less manuals to read.
It shouldn't take that much info to find out how to navigate a car.

I think Hyundai would save a lot of money by having English only in the US cars. Other languages could be free on request.

It would also allow the users to actually keep the damn books in the car instead of dedicating half a shelf of shelf space on these things. I am only keeping the manual(s) that are required for emergencies (tire change, battery jump start, etc), not the multi-media manual. At one time the Equus came with the manual on an iPad, now that makes sense to me ... Except if the car fails, and the iPad is not charged - in that case you're screwed - probably literally

I just carefully ripped the other languages out and threw them away. The cover is now a little big on what is left, but the manual is down to super-sized.
