  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I've used the setup to adjust the brightness of the back up camera on the screen to no avail. The image on the display is quite dim. My car is a 2010 V-6 model. Has anyone experienced a similar problem.

First time I've heard of this issue........ when will it end?!

Haven't heard this specific issue before. Typically folks with back-up camera problems report no picture at all, or lines in the picture. A bad camera or flaky wiring typically.

Dim picture? At night or in sunshine too? My first inclination is to check the camera itself and make sure all protective stick-on film was removed by the dealer and that there is no dirt or other crud stuck to the lens.

If it's okay in the daytime but bad at night... verify your back-up lights actually work on the car. My 2009/Tech's image at night is a bit grainy but I have no trouble seeing details. The center of the image is brighter than the edges; the edges aren't black - just a bit darker is all.
