  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Here we go again.
Now my back-up camera is out. Worked fine yesterday.
I swear I need to start crossing my fingers everytime I press the, "start" button.
I did a quick search on the forum but did not see any posts about the camera.
Thanks.

Its working again and I did nothing to fix it.
It was out for two days!
Wierd!

Did the failure and correction occur around opening/closing the trunk?

i would think the most common problem would be a loose connection which is forced to fail as the trunk is opened/closed, then luck of the draw when that connection is "fixed" via more opening and closing.

I would see if the shop can check for a loose connection.

I don't think so but who knows.
it was out for two full days but its been fine ever since.
The camera's colored lines would display on the screen but the screen was totally black like someone put a piece of tape over the lense.
