Where was the loose connection at? The camera or the plug it's wires plug into?Back in 2010. My 2009 had this problem. It was a loose connection. Do NOT do this.
I put car in reverse with e break on. Opened and closed trunk I could see screen flash on. Then I pulled the camera and confirmed loose connection. Cleaned and reinstalled.
I had to replace my camera. I used this oneI just started to have problems with the back up camera. No display but the grid lines does show up. I got the head unit replaced two months ago. So I'm not sure if it is the camera or the head unit connection. No warranty on the car.
