I am getting ready to change the battery on my Genesis. On some cars, after you disconnect the battery, it requires you to enter a code. Does the nav require you to enter a code upon connecting the battery?

No. I have disconnected my battery multiple times and havent needed to enter a code. can i ask why your are needing to change your battery already? these cars are still fairly new...
 
the battery is testing bad. This summer heat was harsh for a lot of the battery. I thought that the battery is going out pretty darn soon, but I've spoken to a few folks with battery issue. Might be a bad battery or weather, but Hyundai is offering me 25% for the warranty. However, their warranty will only cover the remaining months for the new battery.
