Battery discharged for no apparent reason

Could be a pervasive electrical problem in the 2G Genesis.

It appears to be a mix of both problems.

Dealer said they found the "electrical draw," and it was apparently a bad Nav unit? I'm not convinced, frankly. think I'll be investing in one of those lithium charger things, too. Anybody have any recs on how big it needs to be? do I get the $99 one, or the $199 one? or bigger?

I think you're referring to jump starters - I bought two of these for my cars:

Rated at 1000 amps. Haven't had the occasion to use either one, though. Lithium batteries deliver extremely high currents - why they were chosen for this application. And these particular items can be charged with any USB charger with a micro usb connector.

After they replaced the radio/nav unit, it still had the electrical draw. It's apparently within ".01" amps of being "within spec," and yet the battery *still* couldn't get the car started the next morning. it's BACK at the shop now. I'm thinking about going after a lemon-law return, though I don't know I'll be successful.

Have they replaced the battery yet? If they haven't replaced the battery, AGM's hate being super deep discharged and charging at anything over 14.8v will kill them. If the dealer put it on full blast charge at their shop they could have killed it right there.
I don't have a G2, mine's a G1 but it sits for weeks without any problem and it still has the original battery.

The electricals are super finicky in these new cars. Battery must be on point. Does the Genesis really need an AGM battery?
