Battery light still on!

Hello, I am a female in need of some assistance! I have put a new battery and a new alternator on my 2013 Genesis v6 3.8L with 148,000 miles.....and STILL the battery light is on and I get a "battery discharge warning" in blue on the screen. Any advice or help would be appreciated!!!! Thank you!!!!

Battery light = charging system malfunction. There's more to the charging system than just the battery and alternator. Namely wires and terminals which can corrode and fail. A proper running voltage drop test using a multimeter can usually spot any high resistance legs of the circuit.

Also, if the alternator was not a new OEM part, reconsider that choice.
