Battery Use

Does the G70 have a low battery warning? I want to listen to the radio at the drive in, but I don't know how long the battery will last.

If it is like the 2018 G80, then yes it does. It does not seem to be very accurate as the warning comes long before there is any possible issue with the battery. It may just be a timer instead of looking at the actual battery SOC.

You are correct there, the reminder is nothing but a timer. However, it will shut down an accessory that is left on if the battery SOC starts to get into the danger zone.

You have to go to the Genesis owner's website and login. Once you do click the menu item for connected services.
Then click on More or something like that and you will see a battery percentage. It's pretty annoying to have to do this so I hardwired a digital battery gauge in the trunk.

I used to enjoy driving somewhere with a view, rolling my windows down, turning off the car, and listening to music. Not anymore

First night I had my G80 I killed the battery while reading the manual and sitting in the car listening to music and playing with settings. Came out the next morning to drive my brand new car to work and the battery was dead. Thankfully I still had my old G37.

Nice, I had a G35 and a G37, like the G70 better overall but those 2 cars were a blast too!
