  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Be careful on I-40 near West Memphis

I ended up bending a rim so badly that it couldn't be repaired (yes, alloy rims can sometimes, perhaps even usually, be repaired at ~$160 a pop). The dealer ordered a new rim (at about $960[!!!] including mount and balancing) and hopefully it goes on tomorrow. Hopefully that will cure the vibration I've been having.

I got a nice one (one small area of curb rash) off Ebay for $200 to use as a full size spare. If going on the care full time, I would have had the rash removed. If you watch Ebay and Craigs List, you can occasionally find them; nice to have a matching spare or just a spare wheel in case of problems like above.

I wouldn't touch Craig's List with a 10' pole, but as for eBay, that's a fantastic idea; thank you!!! Of course, the primary market for that extra wheel is this forum, so now that it's been posted, the market will likely spike :D.

ffffFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!! \/\/HAT???

Dude - that's a SET of rims! NICE ones, too!

Finally found a set that I like enough to put on my car, though they're from a Mustang :-). Check out the wheels in this video at about 15 seconds or so. In any case, even if there was a way to make them fit on the Genesis, I've spent too much on the car this year and won't be messing around with it anymore.
