  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Be prepared...

Seems KAI is going to be offering this... now we will see non-genesis cars abusing our wing.

I liked the stylized "K" badges on Kia's but that's not even good looking:rolleyes:

Yeah, well I'm seriously thinking about replacing my wings with the Hyundai symbol...I'm tired of everyone thinking I'm ashamed of the label and/or pretending to have a Bentley. Now that Kia has joined the trend, it's time.

Who exactly thinks either of these things, and why do you care? This is my second Hyundai (I had an Azera and liked it, but when RWD came along in the Genesis I had to have it). I just think the Hyundai emblem is quite unattractive.

Humbug to "those" people the wings are meant for the car by example that the holes in the trunk deck lid for the emblem are one round hole and one oval hole just like the Wings emblem posts and NOT like the two round post flying H that came off the truck deck. To hell with people like that you didn't ask for their opinion anyway.

What did I just read (above)?? Can somebody decipher it?

The tabs on the rear wing badge match the holes in the trunk exactly (one round and one oval), unlike the flying H tabs (both round). So the wing badge is the real one, and the flying H is fake (or whatever).

It's not us that are ashamed of people knowing the Genesis is a Hyundai. If anyone is ashamed, it's Hyundai themselves. In Korea the Genesis doesn't have a crooked H anywhere, it is branded by the wings logo. If anything, by switching the badging on our cars we are being true to the Korean roots.

Looks more like an r at high alpha :)
