  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello,

I recently purchases a 2009 4.6L 70k miles.

I probably bought it with too much haste, but I really love it and it’s teaching me a lot... silver lining, right?

Firestone finally figured out (3rd visit) that it wasn’t their alignment specs causing it to pull to the right.

The lower left control lateral arm and subframe is squished, causing it to rub.

He suggested that maybe it could be corrected with a weld, the entire subframe replaced, or bent back into shape and replaced. I’m buying a MOOG left lateral arm.

I would REALLY appreciate any help or ideas you could send my way. It’s probably from going over those dividers in a parking lot he thinks.

Attached are pics of the damage.

Thank you kindly!!!
Eric

That's a job for a good body-frame shop, one with good laser tools.
