  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Best Color for the design...????

Black then Titanium...but the black is a hassle but worth the work. :-)

The first answer was the right answer -- BLACK, with the black interior. Evil luxury. The car is garaged and washed every other week. Use a California duster on it in between. Ever looked closely at that shiny, shiny black. You will se tiny dots of multiple colors. I guess the old pigment rules are correct -- all colors combined equal black.

Absolutely a functionally stupid choice though if you live in a hot sunny climate or if it rains or dews frequently. Black is horrible with clearcoat swirl marks too. If it is a museum piece sure go for it.

Hello,
When I bought my 2012 Genesis base last year I had two to choose from; the Twilight Blue and the pearl white (both had identical cashmere interiors). I parked them next to each other and walked around them for over an hour before picking the Blue. Here are my observations;
1. The white made the overall car look bigger than the blue, thus making the base wheels look too small for the car.
2. While sitting in the white car, the cashmere interior seemed substantially brighter and even changing the perception of the interior color to one that looked cheap. While seated in the blue the cashmere looks much more tan and reflects the true intention of the color cashmere.

I'm nervous now. What is the intention of my cashmere interior. Does it love me as much as I love it? If it's bad news, don't tell me. I'm sensitive. I've told my cashmere that I don't care for a sea of black inside the car. She knows I like the look of mixed colors on the dash, not black, on black, on black. She knows I truly care for her alone.
