If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Best Floor Mats?

Just to clear up things, I had gotten the 3D maxpider mats for an Audi, not the Genesis.

Yes, Amazon has them, but not for the Genesis Sedan that I can see.

I did call the US distributor/parent company, (U-Ace in California) - web http://www.u-ace.com/

They said that the do not have a fitment for the Sedan, only the coupe.

Maybe we have a donor in Fontana California that can have them test fit their car?

The are really great, do not slip, and are very light weight.

however, they did not have the deep lugs to trap water below your shoe, but they do prevent water from spilling out as they have a nice deep lip all around.

They fit great in the Audi, just wish they made them for the Genesis and my other car.

One more thing, you want 3D MAXpider Kagu mats, those are the ones with rubber like textures, if you get the "classic" they are molded like all weather ones, but have a carpet like texture (very short pile)

I did find one site that says they have them for our cars, but 2015 only, and I think it is a mistake as they look like the coupe ones as they have only one hole on passenger front and no holes on rear mats.

I have never ordered from them so buyer beware and do your homework first.

But I think they are wrong

Well the parent company has a fitment for the sedan - proof being the full set sitting in my car right now - so all the US distributor would need to do is to simply order them from the manufacturer. The more people that ask for it, the more likely it will happen. The Canadian distributor finds it worthwhile to stock the sedan fitment - and they are dealing with a MUCH smaller pool of vehicles (and thus potential customers) than the US distributor would.

Can we order from the site? U-ACE? I really want these... Looks like one the best mats i've seen... plus its a rubber like texture unike the weather tech that is slipperly plastic....

I just wrote them two days ago asking for the sedan mats, still waiting for response.

Dunno. Just seems to me that the more people that say I got cash right now for a set of mats for the sedan, the more likely they will see the benefit in supplying them. I'd let the emails fly.

So I bought the Maxpider Kagu mats from Canada for $155.50 US, and I'm having them shipped to my Canadian address in Quebec. The forwarding company charges me $20 initial registration fee and $10 for every package they deliver. Total before shipping to my USA address is $185.50. I'm ahead of Weathertech by $17. Using the Canadian Post website, I estimate the shipping to be about another $60 which now takes me over Weathertech by $43....but we'll see soon how steep this might end up. And of course there's always the risk of using a middleman, but I've done this before using an address in London in the past.

Regardless, I like Weathertech and Husky liners, but the Maxpiders seem more fitting to my Genesis. Husky doesn't make any liners for the Genesis. Freakin floor mats are ridiculously expensive, but a needed investment with Cleveland winters. By winter, the pain of spending a lot of money will have subsided.

i had the maxi sprider uace mats in my old honda fit, i think they are MUCH better than weathertech ( i have those in my wifes crv) they were molded perfect, the grippy bottom were great and never budged, and was not as slippery as the weathertech. hoping they get the sedan up for sale soon

Good luck, I hope it works out for you, so the rest of us can try the same.

Whew....they made it! Total price: $235.71 US. Weathertech's are $197 on their website, but I found them for $165 no tax and free shipping online. The 3D Kagu mats are a costly venture but they do look great and eloquent. Not a fan of the 3D logo which are riveted in place.

Those look much better than the Weathertechs.

They look great. I'm not sure I want to go through the hassle and expense (US$ 235.71 is insane) for my leased car. I had the Weather Techs in my Chrysler 300 and they worked fine (the car was like new inside and out after 3 years and 35,000 miles), but I am not sure I want to spend US$ 200+ so that the person who gets the car after my lease is over gets basically brand new carpets in their car.

I wonder what the profit margins on items like this are. I imagine they are pretty ridiculous ...

in case anyone needs a set of the 3D floor liners (nice texture, very luxurious compared to standard rubber mats and rinse clean very easily) in the Greater Toronto Area, I have a set I used for 2 winters on my 2015 for sale. $80 for all 4... All in good condition, just a tiny bit of wear on the pattern where the drivers heel goes, but mint condition otherwise. PM me for more details.

I have been looking for an alternative for a while. Here is a great solution I found:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TLTFKX3
It has color options too.

Interesting how the Genesis in the product picture does not seem to have a gas pedal or a brake pedal or a left footrest? A new mat style that just covers everything to keep it clean! :D
