  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Best tires for Equus

I think you all missed the mark. I have had an Azera , Genesis and now an equus. The Korean hankook Ventura s1 noble. It’s an all season tire very quiet and 45000 mile tire made with rolling resistance gets better milage and is z rated. 245/45zr19 102w. At 155 a tire you can’t go wrong

I have a 2011 equus with 40,000 miles. What are the best tires to replace the oem continental tires. I know that everyone looks for different things but overall handling, noise, ride and wear. I was looking at the Michelin pilot sport a/s3.
I have had 2 other hyundai prior , 2007 Azera , 2012 gen 1. Sed and now a recently purchased 2011 equus. I have on the previous cars hankook Ventura s1 noble. Loved them all season 45k z rated and rolling resistance quite and moderately priced 158. As many have posted the dual size not required. This tire is good and runs a close second to $300+ tires. Korean on Korean all the way

Hi - I have a 2015 Equus that I purchased used in 2017 with 11,000 miles. I don't drive it much and now have 21,000 miles and I'm being told that I need all new tires. That doesn't seem like a lot of miles on tires to have to replace them already. Any thoughts or comments appreciated.
OEM Continental tires are garbage and don't last very long so yes they are probably in need of replacing. Also check the date of manufacture on your tires, they may be 6-8 years old already. Old tires can become dry and more prone to premature failure.

I use Extreme Contact DWS on my Equus here in Long Island NY- no issues for any weather. Wear is not great on rears no matter what tire you get if you speed a lot.
