In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. Blinking CEL

Came home for about an hour but when I got back in the car and started her up, she felt like she was missing then the CEL started blinking for about a minute then stopped and she smoothed out. What's happening?
 
I think that is a misfire when it is blinking. probably an ignition coil going bad
