  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello, I just recently got the 2.0 T and don't know much about stock turbos ( better yet anything about turbos in general..) and how they react with after market blow off valves. I searched previous forums hoping for an answer but failed to find one. ( I probably just fail...) but yeah.... I was hoping to get an answer of if its okay and recommendations on some /"good for its price" BOV's.

I just want it to obviously get a little more boost and for the awesome hissing sound (haha) without having to do much but just adding a BOV and that's it.

If anyone could help out that'd be great.

Thanks a lot!

Hey man. I went with the Bushel Racing BOV Block... that was 20 bucks from there site. Then went with the GREDDY BOV and piping. That whole kit from Greddy ran me 400. I have no issues at all with it. it actually helps alot. Ontop of sounding completely awesome. i will post pics as soon as I figure out how to do it. but I went with new intake, intercooler, hard piping, Bushel BOV Delete.... because the stock system is just wierd.... then went with the GREDDY KIT. I must say there was a pretty big change in performance. This kit will also mover your BOV so its not stickin out of the turbo like it does stock.

I`m also looking for a nice BOV, but the clamp has a cap on the screw. If i take that off will it void the warranty?

A blow off valve replacement will not give you any extra performance. It will just sound louder because it will vent to atmosphere.

Cap comes off, you can replace when you are done.

I put a Tial Q on the cold side on mine. If I were to do it again I would just use a better than OEM in the stock location.
