  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello Genesis Owner.

I'm in love with Bluelink option, and within a week, it's about to expire. I was going to subscribe monthly bases until March but, now they changed to a yearly membership, which will cost me over $180. Do you think they will send me a better offer if I let it go? Or do they have a special promotion during Christmas time?
Thank you for your help.

I have yet to see or hear that they offer any promotions. It would be awesome if they did though. Mine expires in March and I dread paying the $$$$ they want just to remote start for a year.

I've got the full subscription - I like being able to send directions to the NAV from the app. Less tedious than screwing with the jog wheel & touchscreen.

Yeah, the cost of that full sub is WAY too much for what you get IMO. I just use Google Maps via AA.

I would do that... But I have the Jog Wheel. Also, BlueLink will call the Meat Wagon if I happen to wrap the Genesis around a tree or drive head on into a bridge abutment....

As stated in another thread,$300 a year for all connected services is less that $1 a day.

Sound like what Apple would say!
But no less true.
You bought a luxury car and demand luxury service. I think connected services is well worth the $300 to me to have it well integrated into my car.

Yeah - seeing as how the wife & I seem to put down a $150 tab every time we go out, the $300 seems kinda trival.

1st world problems....

Mine is coming up for renewal soon and when I log in and select all three packages for a year the 3rd Guidance package is only $3.94 for the year for a total of $183 for all 3 packages. Is anyone else seeing this price as well? If I switch it to monthly the Guidance jumps to $10.

Also when I went into my account today I got an airbag warning alert from 10/29/19 however I have been on the Myhyundai site many time since then and I never got any previous Alert message nor has my car or phone app alerted me to anything.

Interesting. Mine expired on 9/30 and I've been watching the pricing every month. At first, the 3-year package was cheaper as it technically should be (longer-term, higher discount) with the one-year at $96. Last month it had dropped to $71 which was less than the 2- or 3-year average. The monthly has remained at $9.90 each or $29.70/mo.

This thread just prompted me to look and now the one-year price is down to $55. It's got me scratching, but might be time to call them and negotiate a bit...

If you proceed to the next screen, you should double-check what the termination date actually is. Mine had a similar price (like $35/ea) for "1 year" when I signed up again a few weeks back, but apparently "1 year" means until April. I ended up paying for it so I could have remote start in the winter. So I paid like $100 for 4ish months of connectivity? Works out about the same I guess

Yep, thanks billy, just checked and it's through 6/28. I get their game now, hence why they lure you with cheaper pricing as your original term renewal gets closer.

Either will have to call them and see what deal they'll work or wait until a promo code pops up somewhere; they seem to be few and far between.

Hello Whitey, Is mine a higher price than yours? or Hyundai just raised the price?
$54 is really good deal compare to my pricing. Thank You for your help.

Sheesh, I just looked at my account (expires in March 2020) and it shows 1 year of connected and remote is $99 for EACH for ONE year.

His price is lower as it's prorated until his original renewal date, not a full year from today. I wish they would pick a better label than "1 Year". The checkout page will show what your renewal date is. In the end, the rate works out the same.

I just wish they had discounts more often :(

Hi ATL, it's not that yours is higher. My original trial subscription started 6/28 and the pricing keeps adjusting (every month I assume) as I get closer to the next 6/28 term date. It makes sense what they're doing and allows someone to sign up for shorter periods by waiting, but I much rather subscribe for a year or more and get the full-term from when I sign up.

And as billybom just stated, I wish they'd offer us loyal owner's some deals. But I've searched and set a Google Alert and nothing ever pops up.
