  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi Everyone

I recently purchased a 2015 genesis. I noticed a blue stain on the driver side door. can someone tell me what can i use to get this stain out. thanks20180814_123031.webp

I have been using Chemical Guys leather cleaner and conditioner kit on my car. Every time I bring it in for service my seats are blue from the service departments uniforms and it removes it. If a leather cleaner doesn't work I would try a mixture of water, some rubbing alcohol and a few drops of laundry detergent and gently dab it. A magic eraser would be my last resort. Just remember they are pretty abrasive and can easily remove the finish of the leather.

The usual culprit is blue jeans.
I use Maguires gold leather cleaner and conditioner.
I put a bit on a soft cloth and let it sit on the stain for a few mins. Then buff it off with a clean Microsoft cloth.
