  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Yesterday I wanted to start my car to cool it while I was in a grocery store.
As I opened the app, I got the message : Refresh Token is Expired [C401-10]

The Hyundai app and the Genesis app both did that. Rebooting the phone had no effect.
What did work was deleting the app, and reinstalling it.

If you have this error, simply delete the app, and reinstall it.

If this is widespread, BlueLink should have sent a notification.

Yep,got that notice as well with the same advice from HMA
Also Bluelink had renewed all 3 of their packages without notification,I'm now not able to use my Genesis app because they've messed up my email address used as user ID.
They have given me a 3 mon. Extension ( 1 mon. Per package) but am waiting for them to straighten out the email mess. Very PO.!!

Don't use the apps. Use the online portal. It's faster to control the car too.

So instead of a phone we should carry a computer around with us?

Since the last update I've not gotten the expired token message. Hopefully it is fixed. Overall, the app has been second rate.

You have a phone...which runs an app...but not a browser?

What version are you on? If you have updated you may need to restart your phone. I am not getting any errors on the app.

Or if you want it even easier, use Alexa to voice command it to start via connected services. Works on a phone too.

Start Genesis and set the temperature to 72 degrees

You may also be able to resolve this by clearing the application cache if your using an android phone. It would be less painful than a complerte uninstall/reinstall. I don't know if there's an equivalent process for IOS.

I uninstalled/reinstalled the app & reset my password as well. Functions normally now.

Thank you for this information. I was getting the same error message, and reinstalling the app worked!

Mine just did this, on the unlock feature. I noticed the app updated, so i deleted it and reinstalled, and so far its working.
